Well over 800 competitors and their support crews poured into Bridgetown at the weekend for the 31st Rotary Blackwood Marathon,

Overall winners of the open division, the Up ‘N’ Coming team, whose members came from a widely scattered area of the state’s Southern half: Perth, Albany, Franklin, Northam and Bunbury. They completed the 60-kilometre event in two hours, 39 minutes and 13 seconds.
