Classic car parks up in Donnybrook

02 Feb, 2012 01:34 PM
A SLICE of local history was returned to Donnybrook last week in the form of a 1926 Buick bought almost 90 years ago by a member of the pioneering Trevena family.

When the last of the Trevena family passed away, custodianship of the historic Buick was given to the South West Veterans Car Club.

The car club decided to return custodianship of the car to Donnybrook and last week handed the car over to members of the Donnybrook Historical Society at a crowded event that took place after the Australia Day breakfast and ceremonies.
