POLICE have seized more than 5kg of what they believe to be ‘magic mushrooms’ from a vehicle near Donnybrook.
Donnybrook Police would like to warn anybody thinking of heading into the area to collect ‘magic mushrooms’ to think again.
On Saturday, officers seized 5.42kg of what is believed to be the prohibited mushrooms when they stopped and searched a vehicle, containing four men from the metropolitan area.
A spokesperson from Police Media WA said charges against the men are likely to be laid once tests have been carried out on the mushrooms.
“Donnybrook Police warn that they will be patrolling the area and searching people and vehicles suspected of being involved in gathering the mushrooms,” they said.
