TALENTED Bridgetown footballer, Jordan Lowe was selectedfor the State Schoolboys team that recently competed in the School Sport Australian Football Championships.

Lowe, 15, is the first Bridgetown youth to be selected in the team for many years and hopes this will help him reach his goal of one day playing in an AFL team.

A participant of the South West Academy of Sport Football Program and the East Perth Development Squad, he also plays for the under-15s Bridgetown Football Club team and as a fill-in for the Bridgetown Football Club’s colts team.

The State School Boys national Competition was held in Perth from July 24 to 31 and included teams from all over the country.

Lowe, who was travelling to Perth every Monday afternoon for training, was excited to be a part of the team.

His father Paul has been driving him to Perth each week.

Players must attend the training sessions to ensure a place in the team.
