Heavy fighters from the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) spent the day in tournament in the first of a series of events for the year preparing them for the Balingup Medieval Carnivale in August.

Fighters travelled from the metropolitan area and around the south-west to participate in the open heavy fighter tournament, which allowed them to use whichever weapons they liked (or were most proficient with).
