A NUMBER of bowlers competed in the Donnybrook Bowls Ladies Championship Fours last Thursday.
After the first two rounds Kath Bedford and Karen Marsh's teams were the only ones to win both of their games.
Those two teams had to play each other in the final game and it was neck and neck.
In the end Kath Bedford, Maureen Jackson, Maxine Quick and Bet Connell emerged as the winners by a couple of points.
Karen Marsh, Deidre Winsor, Margaret Welsh and Angelina Heath were runners-up.
Maureen Jackson, Nola Blake, Karen Marsh, Laurel Farley and Kath Bedford have been picked to play in the Inter-League Round Robin, in Halls Head, tomorrow and Thursday.
