DONNYBROOK woman Kerylee Buzzard's World's Greatest Shave event was a big success.
Mrs Buzzard, who took part in the event in memory of her mother, raised about $2800 with donations still coming in.
The Shave took place at Salon De Coiffure and the watching crowd toasted the memory of Mrs Buzzard's mother when the final shave began.
Mrs Buzzard said Salon de Coiffure went above and beyond in its support of her efforts.
"Vanessa and Alexis were fantastic," she said.
"Thank you to everyone who donated and supported me."
The event was sponsored by Donnybrook Butchers, Donnybrook Farm Service, Donnybrook Fruit Barn, Bensons Chainsaws, Tiffany's, Autopro Donnybrook, Cellarbrations Donnybrook, Donnybrook Home Hardware and Parties and Gifts at Nine.
"It was wonderful. Be brave and shave," Mrs Buzzard said.
