COMMUNITY members concerned about the roll out of the National Broadband Network (NBN) are asked to make submissions to the Senate Select Committee on the NBN before the February 28 deadline.
Federal member for O'Connor Rick Wilson said he had discussed the inquiry process with WA Senator Dean Smith who is a member of the select committee.
"This enquiry is for members of the public and community to make a submission, and grassroots feedback is needed to ensure its success," Mr Wilson said.
"As a Member of Parliament I will be making direct advocacy on behalf of O'Connor residents to ministers and parliamentary colleagues.
"I strongly encourage people throughout O'Connor to make a submission by February 28."
The committee will look into and report on the government's reviews and the governance of NBN Co.
It will provide a final report on or before June 10.
Submissions should be sent to nbnsen@aph.gov.au or The Committee Secretary, Select Committee on the National Broadband Network, PO Box 6100, Parliament House, Canberra, ACT, 2600.
