Lola Henderson and Isobel Twigg are busy creating with their Loom Bands.
The latest craze of Loom Bands hit the Boyup Brook Community Resource Centre on Thursday July 17. 18 children joined the school holiday program, ‘Loom Band Creations Day’, co-ordinated by trainee Danica McMeikan.
“The kids brought their own loom bands,” Ms McMeikan said. “While some came to learn, others were able to teach their peers.”
Due to the success of the event on Thursday, the CRC decided to run yet another session the following day with a good turnout.
“A fun day was had by all,” Ms McMeikan said. “A big thanks to all the kids who came.”
There are plans for the CRC to host more school holidays activities in the future.
