A HONG Kong man, 23, is in a critical but stable condition after a single vehicle crash on the Donnybrook-Boyup Brook Road on Friday July 18.
The man was a passenger in a car with another 23-year-old Hong Kong man, about one kilometre east of the Mumballup Tavern when the accident occurred.
Donnybrook Police said the vehicle was following a slight right-hand bend when it came onto the left gravel shoulder of the road. The driver lost control of the car, overcorrected and collided head on with a large tree.
The passenger sustained a serious head injury and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC rescue chopper, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
