A 24-year-old Donnybrook man has received a six month prison sentence, suspended for nine months, after being convicted of manufacturing explosives.
A 24-year-old Donnybrook man has received a six month prison sentence, suspended for nine months, after being convicted in Bunbury Magistrates Court on June 20 of manufacturing explosives.
Donnybrook Police charged the man after an oxyacetalene bomb was set off inside a 44 gallon drum at the Tractor Park in Donnybrook, next to VC Mitchell Park, early in the morning of Tuesday October 29.
The explosion was heard throughout the town.
Donnybrook police thanked the community for information provided, which led to a successful outcome in the matter.
