THE Camp Quality motoring adventure WesCarpade has completed its trek through outback WA and raised $300,000.
More than 70 people from across the state participated in the event with 18 quirky vehicles, all at least 20 years old, travelling 2000 kilometres from Kalbarri to Dampier earlier this month.
The money raised will be used to support 75 families who have a child living with cancer for the next year of Camp Quality's resilience-building support program at hospital, home and school.
Fundraising manager Caroline Mason was out on the road with the cars and said the week was a great success.
"We learned that the dusty outback will get the better of some old cars but there is nothing like team spirit to get you through a challenge," she said.
"Camp Quality can now support another 75 families through their child's cancer journey for the next year which is why we do these crazy things."
