FIVE primary school students represented Donnybrook DHS at the Fremantle Football Club's Skills for Schools Competition for Years 4-7 on Saturday.
The Grand Final was the curtain raiser to the Dockers vs Port Adelaide game at Paterson Stadium.
The semi-finals were held during the July school holidays where 1,500 children represented their schools in Long Bomb, Kwik Kick and Fastball.
The top 5 from each category then progressed to the grand final.
Chloe Rogers year four, Charli Clark and Shakaya Harte year five were in the Kwik Kick competition for their year group with both coming Runners Up State Champions.
Ryan Babich year five and Tom Graham year six were both in the Long Bomb competition. Babich came third, and Graham won the State Championship by the smallest of margins of 20cm.
Also Cooper Smith from Dunsborough, whose father is the Donnybrook Football Club league coach, won in all three categories for year seven boys.
The children thoroughly enjoyed representing Donnybrook and being on Paterson Stadium where the Dockers and Eagles play.
They also got to watch the exciting win by the Dockers over Port Adelaide.
