Police are searching for witnesses to a fatal crash in Martin on Friday which killed a 58-year-old woman.
The woman was the passenger in a white Suzuki Swift driven by a 56-year-old Huntingdale man when it was hit by a blue Isuzu utility as it turned into Gosnells Road West from Tonkin Highway about 1pm, police spokeswoman Barb Crane said.
She received serious head and hip injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital along with the driver who received minor injuries.
The driver of the Isuzu, a 25-year-old Kelmscott man, was treated for shock at the scene by paramedics.
The woman underwent emergency surgery over the weekend but died on Sunday night.
Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone travelling on Tonkin Highway at the intersection of Gosnells Road West around 1pm on Friday who may have seen the crash or either vehicle prior to the crash.
