THE Bridgetown Breast Cancer Ball held on Saturday night at the town hall was a huge success.
Organiser Debbie Walton was very happy with the support for the night.
"I am overwhelmed by the support of this wonderful community," Mrs Walton said. "We were extremely happy with the event, it was better than we had hoped."
Deb "Spoons" Perry was one of the performers who donated her time for the fundraiser, along with musicians Nyanda J and Tonic.
There was a fashion parade presented by Kaye Dorian from 'Kaye's Trinkets and Treasures', with local models displaying the clothes.
Over $7000 was raised on the night through ticket sales, raffles, auctions and income from selling drinks.
Mrs Walton is looking forward to holding a similar event in the future.
"We have already had requests for tickets from people who want to sit at the same tables next year," Mrs Walton said.
