NANNUP Youth Advisory Council (YAC) once again excelled in bringing a range of fun, active, creative and inspiring activities to the youth of Nannup during the Spring School Holidays.
Activities included the Re-Cycle art project, a hands on workshop to create artistic ambience for the arrival of cyclists travelling through Nannup on the Audex Perth-Albany-Perth ride; Horse Riding at the Humble Horse in Cowaramup; Movie night at the Youth Space featuring Divergent for the 13+yrs and Rio2 for 12yrs and under; Games Day where an afternoon of competition and fun was had by children who played a range of the old favourites; and finally a Birdhouse Workshop where children were able to make and decorate their own pre-fabricated birdhouse ready for Spring.
All activities were fully booked and thoroughly enjoyed by those that took part.
YAC meets bi-weekly on Mondays starting from October 20, 4.30pm-5.15pm and every Tuesday 3.30pm-4.30pm during the school terms at the Youth Space, Nannup.
For all enquiries phone Kerrie Yabsley at Nannup Shire Office 9756 1018.
Be sure to keep an eye on what’s happening in the Summer Holidays too - it’s going to be awesome.
