THE information bay opposite Nannup Caravan Park on Brockman Street is soon to be transformed into a sculptured public artwork and garden bed.
Design workshops will be held in the Shirley Humble room on Monday 9th February from 5-6pm and also on Saturday February 14th from 10-11am.
All members of the public are welcome to attend.
Following this, local Nannup artists will use the concept designs to create designs that will be displayed at the Nannup markets on the March 14 for the public to choose and vote on.
Once the design is approved by Council, construction workshops will be hosted to complete the project due for an official opening at the Annual Flower and Garden Festival held on August 13-16 2015.
This project has been made possible with funding from the Australian Government through Australia Council for the Arts, Community Arts Network WA, the Department of Culture and the Arts, Mental Health Commission WA and Lotterywest.
