Netball
DONNYBROOK girls Emma Dale (Reserves), Courtney Babich and Shantelle Tassone (18 and under), successfully trialled and were selected to play in The Smarter than Smoking WANL (West Australian Netball League) representing Souwest Jets Reserves and 18 and Under teams in 2014.
Pre-season training commenced immediately to see these athletes fit and match-ready for the WANL 2015 Season.
Competition began early February and continues through to July.
WA’s premier State League involves eight regions including, Souwest Jets, Midwest, Wheatbelt and five Perth-based teams.
Not only will these girls play State netball league for Souwest Jets in 2015, they will also play club netball, South West Netball/Football League for diverse teams and clubs and continue with pathways to further their netball aspirations.
The WANL is a prestigious and elite competition to be involved in, and the Donnybrook community acknowledge and recognise the hard work Emma, Courtney and Shantelle have worked towards to achieve their goals.
