THOMAS Graham from Donnybrook won the John Cartledge sportsmanship award at the Bridgetown Junior Classic Tournament last weekend.
Tournament Director Chris Shedley said he was very impressed with Graham during the tournament, with the sportsmanship trophy named in honour of 80 year old Bunbury-based Cartledge, who was a South West coach and spent a lot of time in Bridgetown running clinics.
"I was also pretty impressed with Scott Tuia who won the 11 and under competition," Mr Shedley said.
Connor Lord from Bunbury won the 15 and under singles and the 13 and under competition was won by Thomas Bergin from Boyup Brook.
"It was a great tournament," Mr Shedley said. "We had a visit from the current South West coach, Andrew Woodward, who said he was very impressed with the tournament. It is a great entry level competition for players who haven't played much in tournaments before."
