The final quarterfinal saw a large upset with American Courtney Conlogue eliminating last year's runner up Tyler Wright.
World number one Carissa Moore showed her strength in the first semi-final to eliminate the last Australian in Sally Fitzgibbons before American Courtney Conlogue continued her blistering day eight run to eliminate Hawaiian Malia Manuel and book her grand final spot.
