Hoon: Donnybrook police radars captured this excessive speed on the South Western Highway.
A THIRTY-two year old Brunswick man is facing reckless driving charges and has had his vehicle impounded for 28 days.
Donnybrook Police picked the man up shortly after 3pm on Sunday February 7 travelling at 155kph in a 100kph zone on the South Western Highway in Newlands.
“Fortunately we don’t see a lot of these significant speeds on major arterial roads,” Donnybrook Officer in Charge Sergeant Ryan van der Heide said.
“However it’s a reminder to drivers that there are still people on the road who have no regard for other road users.”
