Men’s Division 1: May 15
ON a wet and windy Sunday, and with the breeze at their back, Blackwood United put away five goals to Dynamos Dragons' nil before half time to effectively end the contest.
Then with their turn with the wind, Dragons pegged back a couple in the second half, but the match ended with Blackwood in front by 10 goals to Dynamos' two.
Tom Worthington finished with four goals for Blackwood, and Isaac Rutten scored three.
While Blackwood have brutally disposed of a string of teams this season, and currently sit second on the ladder with an incredible +48 goal difference, leading into Sunday's match they had come off consecutive losses to third placed Collie and first placed Manjimup.
In other games from last weekend Manjimup defeated Hay Park 2 and Collie demolished Bunbury Dynamos, which will ensure they remain in the top spots on the ladder for longer. Dynamos Division 1 is currently fourth followed closely by Capel.
