EARLIER in May, the Nannup Anglican Church finally got its beautiful new garden finished. After waiting for cooler weather, a perfect planting day finally arrived.
Coincidentally, the day coincided with World Naked Gardening day which luckily, due to icy weather (and being on Church grounds) was deemed "probably inappropriate," so all clothing fortunately remained on all the volunteers!
Equipped with shovels, gloves, laughter and knowledge of rabbit proof fencing, they joined together to get 75 potted plants and trees into the ground at the “Sabrina Hahn” designed garden.
Thanks to Sabrina Hahn, Shire of Nannup, the enthusiastic volunteers and fundraising efforts of the committees of the Nannup Anglican Church & Nannup Garden Village Inc., Nannup will be enjoying another beautiful town garden by Spring!
