The ‘Lovely Lofties’ of Bridgetown were pleased to have a great turnout for the re-opening of their shop on the weekend.
Victoria Meyer, Angela Nicholas and Karrie Williamson have been joined by Lela Scarrott to be part of the collaborative business known as the Bridgetown Loft.
All the products in the shop are of high quality and have been carefully selected so as to appeal to those who value great quality handmade items.
Jewellery, ceramics, aromatherapy products, art, homewares, there is something for everyone at the shop and the Lovely Lofties are proud that they know all of their suppliers, providing an outlet that caters to small, unique business.
Due to the success of the unique shop that they have created, they have now moved to bigger premises.
Victoria Meyer was pleased with the turnout on Friday night and is looking forward to continuing to be a part of the flourishing and ever-evolving business.
“We have to say that we were all blown away by the support we received last Friday night,” Mrs Meyer said.
“It was so humbling to see so many locals coming out to help us to celebrate, we really feel like part of the community and that is very special to us all.
“We could not be happier with the way the shop fit out has ended up. It has been busy times in the lead up to the opening - you might have seen some of us walking wardrobes down the street from the old shop to the new shop - lots of recycled timber and locally made fittings and signs.
“The most exciting part is that we now have the room to run creative workshops at the back of the retail space.”
