Students were excited to showcase their work to family and friends last Wednesday evening as part of the Bridgetown Primary School open night and book week celebrations.
The open night is an opportunity for the school as a whole to showcase the varied activities and learning experiences.

Hundreds turned out for the event with the Parents & Citizens Committee providing dinner and treats while entertainment was provided by local high school musicians.
The book fair in the library allowed students to buy the most up-to date books while the breakfast club raised much needed funds to support the chaplain program.
Bridgetown Primary School principal Judith Dadson said it was a great evening and a wonderful opportunity for students to show how hard they have been working during the year.
“The open night is an opportunity for the school as a whole to showcase the varied activities and learning experiences our students are involved in on their learning journey in primary school,” Judith said.
“Such events are very important as they enable students to share their learning and their achievements with family and it further provides a great opportunity for teachers to chat with families in an informal setting.”
