The inaugural Boyup Brook Family Fun Day was held at the Music Park last Saturday, with organisers happy that the weather was incredibly kind to them.
There was plenty of fun and games for all ages, with fake fishing, juggling ball workshops, hula hoop dancing and drumming workshops available throughout the afternoon.
A number of awesome local youth bands provided musical entertainment before a Toobooboo drumming performance.
Event organiser Sam Curran said it was a wonderful afternoon for the whole family and she was looking forward to it becoming an annual event.
“The family fun day has been organised as a mental health promotion to encourage individuals to take action to protect and promote their own mental well-being,” Sam said.
“This has been a very well supported event and I would like to thank all of our wonderful sponsors who have helped make this day the success that it is.”
