Donnybrook Cricket Club and Balingup Primary School are some of the local clubs and schools that are stepping up to the crease and joining hundreds of families, friends, cricket clubs, businesses and schools by adding a splash of pink to cricket pitches nationally to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation this Pink Stumps Day.
Tracy Bevan, ambassador and director, challenges the rest of the community to go pink and is encouraging everyone to participate.

Pink Stumps Day plays a vital fundraising role to help achieve the Foundation’s mission of ensuring every family impacted by breast cancer has access to a dedicated breast care nurse, no matter where they live or their financial situation.
McGrath Foundation president and co-founder Glenn McGrath recognises the contribution Australian communities make through fundraising and awareness raising activities for the McGrath Foundation.
“This is the seventh annual Pink Stumps Day and it continues to be our biggest community fundraising initiative; we are incredibly grateful for the support of people from right across the country.”
While the official Pink Stumps Day is on February 18, participants are welcome to host their event before then or anytime up to April 2017.
