Greenbushes Primary School students have commenced their first term in 2017 with a busy program including swimming lessons and establishing the school vegetable garden.
There are 22 students enrolled from kindergarten through to Year 6, with Anne Giblett leading the junior class with assistance from Barb Hatswell and Sue Pember.
Principal Roger Foster will team teach the senior class with Deb Perry.
The staff will focus on integrating science, technology, engineering and mathematics across the curriculum in 2017 and will also place emphasis on community engagement.
New Chaplain Leonie Armstrong will provide pastoral care at the school.
She will be involved in the Breakfast Club at the school on Wednesdays and Thursdays with school gardener Andrea Barker.
