Preparations are well underway for the Balingup Small Farm Field Day, which takes place on April 22.
In keeping with the theme of ‘Small Farms – Big Ideas’, organisers say the Balingup Small Farm Field Day will celebrate the lifestyle opportunities on offer when living on a small rural holding.
More than 300 stallholders are expected to sell and promote handcrafts.
These will include jewellery, clothing, gourmet foods, garden products and waterwise plants.
Local cheeses, pickles, olives, marron and fruit will also be available to taste and purchase.
There will also be cider and wine tastings.
Garden experts at the Black Stump will talk visitors through purchasing the right plants for their garden.
A rock climbing wall will enable people to test their mountaineering skills.
