Police raids on three homes in Busselton yesterday uncovered more than $35,000, drugs, weapons and stolen property.
The raids were a result of a joint operation between Busselton Detectives, Dunsborough Police, Donnybrook Police and police drug dogs.
Officers found quantities of MDMA, cannabis, smoking implements, a large quantity of cash, firearms, a stolen motorbike and stolen property.
As a result, three people were charged with drug-related offences. Police are also continuing with other inquiries.
Busselton Police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Jason Van der Ende said it was important the community informed police about anything suspicious.
“The raids were targeting a specific drug syndicate in the area.” he said.
“Our primary concern is to keep the community safe and receiving information from the community helps us to do this. We do act on information given to us.
“If you see anything suspicious, contact us or Crime Stoppers. We will act on the information as soon as we have enough grounds.”
