Businesswomen Holly Gilbert and Claire McLeod are the creators of an experience in the region that may just take your breath away.
The duo share a love of food and wine - combining it with glamping - they thought it would be a great way to experience and showcase the South West.
“We put together grazing boards in a styled tee-pee in these amazing locations,” Ms McLeod said.
“We also do the two things separately, we do grazing boards for people at home, at their accommodation, corporate events, lunches, catering or for people to enjoy at the beach.”
Ms Gilbert said everything they used was sourced from the region and the pair have spent time collaborating with businesses and have since been contacted by more producers keen to share their goods.
“It has been a really natural progression,” she said.
Since the pair launched Hide and Feast they have used social media, in particular Instagram, to promote their business and have received a strong following.
“It has pretty much been our soul,” Ms McLeod said.
“We are learning and learning what people like to see and what gets people talking, as soon as a photo goes up of food people tend to like it and they start communicating,” Ms Gilbert said.
“The more people who are communicating the more it pops up and it has been a really positive tool for us.”
They have found a niche in the market for couples who want a romantic picnic, so the pair created a couple’s shelter which can be setup anywhere.
“It has the wow factor,” Ms Gilbert said.
For one client the pair setup a couple’s tent on Injidup Beach complete with fairy lights, rose petals and a food platter.
“People see how special and unique it is and it is really nice to get those reactions,” Ms McLeod said.
