The South West Pridefest is promised to be bigger and better this year after planning begun this week at the Highway Hotel in Bunbury.
The volunteer group that run the event have outlined several key events to be held in Bunbury and Busselton as part of the festival.
The Pridefest events will be a celebration of LGBTIQ community, with this years the event will be focusing on the freedom that we all enjoy in Australia.
The main event will take place in Bunbury on November 4, at the Graham Bricknell Music Shell.
Busselton will host three smaller events; A pride sundowner, movie night and bingo.
All the events are designed to be engaging and inclusive to the wider community, so everyone can enjoy the celebrations.
Committee Member Dana was excited about the scale of this years festival.
“This year will be the biggest, and most spectacular Southwest pride event to date, with music, food trucks, stalls and entertainment.”
The events will be all ages with live entertainment, live art, food trucks, and more to celebrate pride and love in the South West region.
