CROWDS flocked in their thousands to the Donnybrook Food and Wine Fest at the weekend.
The festival, held at the Donnybrook Amphitheatre, put fresh local produce and crafts on display alongside vintage cars and entertainment from popular local entertainers Latehorse, Soul Divas and the Bad Apples.
Locals and visitors had plenty to do, see and sample, from the tastes of international foods to local wines and produce. The move from February to November meant it all happened on a cooler day than usual – although the weather still turned on plenty of sunshine.
A festival favourite is always the vintage car display, and this year didn’t disappoint, with displays both at the top and the bottom of the amphitheatre drawing visitors in to inspect the well-kept vehicles.
Face painting and bouncy castles kept the kids happy, while live music and cooking demos from celebrity chef Andrew Embley kept the amphitheatre filled with movement and sound.
