The scarecrows have made their much anticipated return to the streets of Balingup this week ahead of the annual Balingup Small Farm Field Day.
The event kicks off on Saturday, April 21 at Balingup Sports Oval from 9am to 4pm.
Entry to the festival is free for children under 16 (accompanied by an adult) and $15 for adults.
The new feature for 2018 is ‘Farm to Table’, giving visitors the opportunity to tour in the comfort of a Royal Gala coach to three local farms – Rokewood Olive Grove (Olive Oil), Southampton Homestead and Farm (Organic & Free Range Chickens) and Bossy Boots Organic Farm (Organic Vegetables).
The event is being held on Sunday, April 22 from 8am to 2.15pm.
Tickets are $50 per person and can be booked by contacting the Balingup Visitors Centre on 9764 1818.
Balingup offers an array of accommodation options while the Visitor’s Centre staff can assist with queries and bookings throughout the weekend.
