Manjimup Rovers have had a rough start to the 2018 season due to a number of factors, but are finding their feet and hope to recover for a stronger performance in the remaining games.
Coach Troy Reid is doing a good job of leading the team with an aspirational vision of the type of football we want to play.
This has seen some players change into new positions and learn new skills, which combined with a number of promising juniors who have stepped up has meant that the Rovers as a team and as a group of individuals are learning and growing.
This process, however, takes time and has a cost which has been evident in some of the games.
Recently a strong performance in a nil-all draw against Hay Park had the Rovers working well, a level of performance which they maintained in the recent loss to Eaton-Dardanup at home 3-4.
Going forwards the Rovers hope to continue their development and grow throughout the 2018 South West Soccer Association season.
