The Balingup Medieval Carnivale drew massive crowds this weekend, with medieval fighting, markets and fantastic outfits all helping to create another awesome event.
The annual celebration continues to grow, with people from all over the South West and Perth coming along to enjoy the popular festival.
Balingup Medieval committee member Nadia Adams said the event was getting bigger and better every year and thanks to some local support the site was becoming better as well.
“We have had lots of new people here this year and it was the biggest crowd we have ever had at the Burning of the Dragon,” she said.
“We have had a number of new stall this year and the entertainment has been good, as always.
“I would like to thank all of the amazing volunteers who make this carnivale the best around and I would also like to thank the prisoners from Bunbury Regional Prison who have helped with the site work during the year, as this has really made it a lot easier for our volunteers to get things done.”
