Brisbane defender Luke DeVere says the Roar are capable of beating anyone as the Roar prepare for the toughest road trip in the A-League.
Winless since late November, the Roar pulled off the upset of the season last Friday with a 2-1 victory against Sydney FC despite missing several players through suspension and injury.
The victory came a week after the Roar made history by becoming the first team to lose in regulation time after leading by three goals since national competitions started in 1977 with a 4-3 defeat to Adelaide.
That collapse prompted Roar captain Matt McKay to say his team had forgotten how to win.
DeVere says the belief gained from the Sydney win must now be used for the remainder of the season, starting with this weekend's clash with league leaders Perth in Western Australia.
'We've been in great positions, not only in that game but other games this season, to get a good result and get a win and we somehow slip on a banana skin if you will and shot ourselves in the foot," DeVere said of the Adelaide loss.
"To get that confidence and belief that we can go on with a game and win it against a team like Sydney, there's no reason why any player on this team shouldn't believe that we shouldn't go out each and every week now and actually get a win, no matter who we're coming up against."
The Roar head west with Daniel Bowles and Dane Ingham returning from suspension, while DeVere is hopeful of recovering from a knee injury which forced him off against Sydney within 10 minutes.
Brisbane will have to face the Glory without Spanish midfielder Alex Lopez (suspended), while defender Jack Hingert is out for the rest of the season after rupturing his ACL in the first half of the win over Sydney.
"It's always a bit sad and unfortunate when a player gets a significant injury," DeVere said.
"Jack's a fantastic professional, knows how to look after himself and how to do the right things, so I'm sure we'll see him back on the field sooner rather later in terms of that time frame."
