Village Harvest, Donnybrook has been formally acknowledged by the Kleenheat 2019 Gold Plate Awards' selection panel.

The restaurant was named as a finalist in the Unlicensed Asian award category.

All winners will be announced at an official ceremony at Crown Perth in November.

Pleased with the result, owners Paul Johnston and Chris Ngu thanked their team and the community for their support.

"We are thrilled to be nominated," Mr Johnston said.

"It feels good to be acknowledged for our food. We love providing quality food for every customer that walks through the door.

"Going one step further, and taking out the top prize, would also be terrific."

Since first opening in November 2016, Village Harvest has sought to provide delicious meals for Donnybrook and the South West.

The restaurant prides itself on using local produce and connecting with its customers.
